Today is a new day. A day in which anything can be changed.
A day that allows for one to stand up and become someone new. Whatever it is that you have been waiting to change and putting off, wait no more. Be who you want to be. Live how you want to live. Grow while there is time to grow. Procrastination can shatter opportunities. Waiting takes time. It takes time away from doing. You can not do and wait at the same time. Procrastination and Action will never be two in the same.
While we wait we wither. When we act, we achieve.
While we sit, we stay. When we stand we get strong, and when we move we make changes.
Yesterday can eat away at us and we may fear the future. But all that matters is the now. The now irrelevates the past and makes way for the future. The now is the right here. This very instant, this moment, this minute that you spend reading these words. The next few minutes you spend doing whatever it is that you choose to do.
24 hours...
That's it.
That's an entire day.
What can be accomplished in 24 hours?
24 - 8 hours of sleep = 16 hours left
16 - 8 hours of work or school = 8 hours left
8 - 3 hours for meals = 5 hours left
5 hours? That's it? What do you do in your 5 hours?
Do you make a change? Do you waste your 5 hours? Do you procrastinate? Do you spend your time dreading the next 24 hours? Do you wait? Do you fill your time with mindless things that will not matter immediately after? Do you relax in your 5 hours until the next 24 start?
LIVE!
Go! Seize the day. Better yet, seize the moment. What you choose to do in this minute is the only thing you will have ever been able to do in that minute for the rest of your life. You cant go back 5 minutes and change it. You cant go back 1 second and change it. Time is irreversible. Excuses are pointless. Time will never stop. the clock will never cease to keep on ticking, batteries or not. The world will never stop spinning. You can never get time back, no matter what your wishes.
Today is a new day. A day in which anything can be changed.
