A day in which anything can be changed.

A day that allows for one to stand up and become someone new. Whatever it is that you have been waiting to change and putting off, wait no more. Be who you want to be. Live how you want to live. Grow while there is time to grow. Procrastination can shatter opportunities. Waiting takes time. It takes time away from doing. You can not do and wait at the same time. Procrastination and Action will never be two in the same.
While we wait we wither. When we act, we achieve.
While we sit, we stay. When we stand we get strong, and when we move we make changes.
Yesterday can eat away at us and we may fear the future. But all that matters is the now. The now irrelevates the past and makes way for the future. The now is the right here. This very instant, this moment, this minute that you spend reading these words. The next few minutes you spend doing whatever it is that you choose to do.
24 hours...
That's it.
That's an entire day.
What can be accomplished in 24 hours?
24 - 8 hours of sleep = 16 hours left
16 - 8 hours of work or school = 8 hours left
8 - 3 hours for meals = 5 hours left
5 hours? That's it? What do you do in your 5 hours?
Do you make a change? Do you waste your 5 hours? Do you procrastinate? Do you spend your time dreading the next 24 hours? Do you wait? Do you fill your time with mindless things that will not matter immediately after? Do you relax in your 5 hours until the next 24 start?
LIVE!
Go! Seize the day. Better yet, seize the moment. What you choose to do in this minute is the only thing you will have ever been able to do in that minute for the rest of your life. You cant go back 5 minutes and change it. You cant go back 1 second and change it. Time is irreversible. Excuses are pointless. Time will never stop. the clock will never cease to keep on ticking, batteries or not. The world will never stop spinning. You can never get time back, no matter what your wishes.

Today is a new day. A day in which anything can be changed.

People vs. People

I have learned that there are different types of people. We can narrow it down in to two categories for now. Lets say followers and leaders. As we all know a leader leads and a follower follows. The world is not this concrete, and there are very many in-betweens, but for the sake of this discussion lets start with these two.

The Leader
Most leaders are said to be born leaders. Its just something in their personality that draws people to them and makes people want to do what they do or believe in what they think the leaders purpose is. A leader is a risk taker, a thinker, the one most likely to get in trouble for flowing against the current. A leader may have to "take one for the team" or be the one chosen as the example for others. A leaders life is a difficult one but oh so promising.

The Follower
Most followers are the quiet types. Never really try to stand out or make waves. Just go with the flow and let things happen around them. Most followers need leaders to direct them in life. Such questions as "What do I wear?" or "What do I say?" are questions that flow through a followers mind. Even though they may never say these questions out loud there is no need. The majority rule is basically the way of life.

Which is happier?
I think this question is best answered by the people themselves. The prideful leaders and the followers that hate to be called followers. In our society a leader is seen as good and a follower as bad, but if there were no followers leaders would not exist. Leaders need followers like Yen needs Yang. Followers need leaders like we all need direction from time to time.

So what do we do?
Just keep on living. You are who you are. Your personality develops between the ages of 3 to 5 and your not going to have a lot of luck changing that now. Being a leader is not a habit. Its an instinct, a trait, a characteristic of our deepest personality. If you lead, lead on, and please, lead us in the right way. If you follow, come on, and try not to fall too far behind. Too many critics cause for a bad show regardless of the happenings. If you vote, feel free to express your opinion, if you don't, don't complain. If something cant change, quit beating yourself up about it, you will only hurt yourself and others.

Its never good to hurt someone.
Sometimes its better just to enjoy your life and quit getting caught up in what ifs.
Its always good to strive to be happy.

Love All, Worship One ....try it sometime

What Is Real Music?

There was a discussion taking place. What is REAL music? What is real in music? Who is real? And if we talk about who is real, then who is fake? How can we seek out the real and differentiate from the non-real? With the discussion at hand, many people with many different perspectives had many different opinions. We heard one after the other until pretty soon we had come full circle with all the different views. Then someone said "Lets go back to the original question, 'What is REAL music', we can not define music, because if we define it then we limit what it is. We limit the potential it has to be something more than what we all see. We stop it from growing and moving with the times. From shifting with each generation and developing its own norms, values and responsibility. Once you define something you kill it. You trap it in a box and stick a label on it. We can NOT define music."
The Thought.
To define something puts a tag on it to let people know what it is. Mainstream media does it everyday. From the billboards we see to the ads at the grocery store. Everything has a tag. Everything has a label. Regardless of what the product may come to be or what it really is, it has a tag. Maybe its what it was supposed to be. We never know what to expect from anything. If we did there would be no excitement. If we knew what to expect from every album, or every song. Music would die. Music would no longer be music. Music would be nothing.
The Realization.
Let it be. Let the philosophers have their philosophies, let the theorists have their theory, and let the scientists do their studies. But more importantly than anything else. Let music be music.
